Dale Davis

“A Beverly Hills boy. ‘Frail Dale.’ One of the more popular of the maybe 20 surf filmmakers of the 1960s. His thin, darkly-tanned body, complete with gold chains and a jewel-encrusted watch, caused him to stand out among the beach crowd. He’d show up on all the good days, often accompanied by a series of attractive girlfriends, and shoot the hottest guys. He was a fixture on the surf scene for almost 10 years. Everybody liked him.”
